ama agency clients

At AMA PDX, we believe that marketing is a powerful tool for change. That’s why each year, we provide expert strategy and hands-on marketing support to community-based organizations making a difference. This year, we want to shine a special spotlight on four organizations that are leading the way in community empowerment, sustainability, youth development, and food security. *Drumroll please*… introducing the official 2025 AMA PDX Agency client selection and where they're making an impact:

Wonderfolk: Empowering the Next Generation of Leaders

Wonderfolk is dedicated to breaking down systemic barriers for BIPOC youth through leadership training, environmental engagement, and arts activism. Their programs provide hands-on experiences that build confidence and equip young changemakers with the tools they need to thrive. With our support, they’re refining their messaging to reach more young changemakers and expand their mentorship programs.

Lloyd EcoDistrict: Driving Sustainability & Resilience

Lloyd EcoDistrict is transforming the Lloyd neighborhood into a model for sustainable urban living. From community-led green space restoration to energy efficiency workshops, their work demonstrates how urban spaces can flourish while addressing environmental challenges. Our team is helping them amplify their outreach and engagement strategies.

Playworks Pacific Northwest: Building Stronger Communities Through Play

Playworks Pacific Northwest believes in the power of play to transform schools, build social-emotional skills, and create inclusive environments for kids. By fostering active, collaborative recess spaces, they help students feel included, develop leadership skills, and build lifelong healthy habits. Our support will help them refine their outreach strategy and expand their impact across the region.

Portland Fruit Tree Project: Growing Food, Growing Community

Portland Fruit Tree Project is tackling food insecurity by harvesting and redistributing fresh fruit to local families. Through volunteer-powered harvests and community orchard projects, they ensure that surplus produce doesn’t go to waste but instead nourishes those who need it most. With our pro bono marketing support, they’re strengthening their brand storytelling and growing their volunteer network.

Why This Matters

For community-based organizations, effective marketing isn’t just about visibility—it’s about turning vision into action. By supporting organizations like Wonderfolk, Lloyd EcoDistrict, Playworks Pacific Northwest, and Portland Fruit Tree Project, we’re investing in a future where young leaders thrive, urban spaces flourish, communities stay active, and no fruit goes to waste. We’re proud to support these organizations as they create lasting change!
