What do you do in marketing/communications? What are your day-to-day responsibilities like?
I sit on the Demand Generation team for Trimble, a large construction software firm. I’m responsible for demand generation strategy and campaign planning for selling our enterprise resourcing program (ERP) into mechanical and electrical specialty sub contractors. This includes campaign strategy planning, webinars, email marketing, and account-based marketing. I also support our software integration partner marketing.
Do you have any recent wins or professional achievements you'd like to share?
Recently, I had the opportunity to move from a Field Marketing Coordinator role, in which I was supporting Trimble's channel partners and managing regional events, into a Revenue Marketing Specialist role!
Do you have a favorite marketing tool or resource that you use in your everyday work?
In the business-to-business software space, it’s important to closely collaborate with sales teams and one way I do that is by using Gong Engage. The tool allows me to curate specific follow-up to an audience of events that make sense for our customers!
Why did you choose to be an AMA member?
My goal as part of AMA is to meet and learn from my peers in the marketing industry. The term marketing is very broad and can encapsulate everything from paid media, to demand generation, to graphic design and video, and even data analysts. I hope to gain a greater understanding of the industry as a whole and where I fit within it.
What are your favorite hobbies?
On the weekends you can find me out in nature, skiing, cycling, camping, and traveling.
What are some of your favorite parts about living in the Pacific Northwest?
I enjoy the access to the outdoors, the yearlong greenery, warm summers and moderate winters, and the awesome folks who live here!
