What are the most important aspects of your job?

I empower small businesses, students, and nonprofits to navigate the complexities of data analytics and SEO, helping them compete with larger players. Whether it's simplifying tools, crafting targeted strategies, or creating game-based educational materials, my goal is to make growth accessible and practical in competitive markets.

Do you have any hobbies or volunteer experiences (outside of AMA PDX) that help you be a better marketer?

Absolutely! My hobbies range from mushroom foraging, swing dancing, and backpacking, to photography, editorial styling, and costume-making. These passions fuel my creativity and teach me resourcefulness and adaptability. They inspire me to think outside the box, craft compelling stories, connect with diverse audiences and communities, and approach challenges with curiosity and ingenuity. I also volunteer at Renaissance Faires, where I immerse myself in collaborations and storytelling, and as a conservation trail worker in national forests during the summers. These experiences have strengthened my teamwork skills and deepened my appreciation for preserving culture, art, and nature in creative, engaging ways.

Do you have a favorite marketing tool or resource you’d recommend to others?

I’m particularly fond of Google Analytics paired with custom dashboards in Data Studio—it’s a game-changer for turning raw data into actionable insights. I also love the power of word-of-mouth marketing and authentic storytelling; creating exceptional customer experiences and meaningful connections in community spaces can lead to enthusiastic, organic promotion.

What is/has been your role as an AMA PDX Agency volunteer?

This past year I served as a video producer and lead SEO consultant for Rooted School Vancouver’s campaign. I recently stepped into my new role as Agency Communications Director for the AMA PDX Board of Directors.

What has been most notable or enjoyable about your volunteer experience with us?

Being able to connect with mission-driven nonprofits and seeing how impactful marketing strategies can make a significant difference! I also really enjoyed mentoring our client and team members in SEO and witnessing the tangible results of our collective efforts firsthand—it was incredibly rewarding!

What is something fun you’ve learned about the organization you worked with?

Rooted School Vancouver’s mission is truly unique and transformative: every graduate leaves with both a college acceptance and a job offer in hand. It was inspiring to highlight their focus on STEM education and its role in breaking cycles of poverty and creating brighter futures.

Did you or your team have any accomplishments you’re especially proud of?

I led our SEO team in developing a digital marketing plan and targeted keyword campaign, resulting in a remarkable 300% increase in user traffic growth and acquisition for our client within just a week! I’m also especially proud of our promotional video, celebrating community and academic success. Seeing these efforts translate into real growth and impact for students and the school was extremely fulfilling.

Who would benefit from becoming an Agency volunteer?
